Museum Shop
The Museum shop in the foyer of Bern’s Historical Museum
offers a varied and attractive assortment of merchandise. The
stock comprises carefully selected objects (e.g. high-quality
replicas of ancient jewellery or medieval goblets) as well as
accessories, stationery articles, games and greeting cards with
reference to cultural history or to exhibitions in the Historical
Museum.
In the bookshop you will find a wide selection of multilingual
editions of non-fiction and illustrated books on cultural and
art history, plus catalogues of the exhibitions held in the
Historical Museum. A large selection of non-fiction books for
children, CDs und DVD-history films rounds off the offer.
Especially popular among the younger public is our toy knight,
which is exclusive to the Historical Museum. Beautifully worked
helmets, shields, swords made of wood, and bonnets for the knight’s
wife, are proving a big hit.
