Middle Ages in the Museum Park
24 May – 24 August 2008
(Tue–Sun 10–17 h)
Hands-on programme for families and schools: To complement the exhibition, children
are being given the chance to experience in the Museum Park what a siege looked like in
the time of Charles the Bold, how stone masons worked on a building site, and how knights
and noble ladies dressed in the Middle Ages: children can join in besieging the castle
and raising the siege, in training in single combat by balancing on a log, in cutting
sandstone or in trying out a knight’s clothing. Barbecue site available in the park.
